Thanks. Good Ideas. I will try both. It may not be until next weekend before I can get to it but will post the results as soon as I get time.

We'll I found the problem. I tried the ideas above and it at least told me it was somewhere between the fuse box and the "firewall" connector. Close investigation found the red wire was dust for about a 1 inch section. Moisture was getting in somehow. Could have been chaffing on something. Now I need to start cutting back until I find clean wire that will take solder.
