the IVR means it is a 1966 396 with 325 hp and it has a Rochester q-jet 4 barrel carb and was mated to a th400 tranny. so it was made in Tonawanda on November 12 and it is a 396 4 barrel with 325 horsepower and a th400 transmission. now I may be incorrect here but if you look at the suffix IVR to me it looks like the roman numeral 4 for 4 barrel and the R would stand for Rochester carb. but that is just my thinking on it.
