1971 El Camino Build
Just started a restore/build of a 1971 El Camino. My plan is to make it a daily driver. I'm going with a LS3/4Q10e drive train. It is currently frame off and both the frame and body are being blasted. I am looking for input for suspension as it will need to be the first thing addressed going back on the frame. I have seen complete kits like Hotchkis, QA1 and Ridetech but they are very expensive and I have no idea if they are worth the money. Maybe it would be best just to replace all the wear items and keep it stock. I am looking for a quality ride not a track car. I will be going with a 4 disk brake set up, 12:1 steering box. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
