1982-83 Elky
Hello every one I'm new here and looking for some help and tips to making my restoration project a bit easier. I'm currently restoring an 82 El Camino every thing is sound with the body and drive train but the interior is god awful so I decided to pull the interior from an 83 and ran into a snag with the dash. How the hell do you remove it? I located all the screws but it seems to be riveted at the base. So do I grind out the rivets or is there something I missed ? the electrical system is in great condition and I really don't want to go dismantling it to remove the dash substructure . Any help would be great
thank you
Once it gets moving I will start posting pic's

your best bet would be to look at the chiltons manual as it should give you an exploded view of it. the onlytime i take the dash out of full size gm. is with a crow bar and im never woryed about puting them back in. lol.
