Does anybody out there have an original jack on their 65 (or 64) Chevelle that they can measure it's length? Mine is 34 1/2 inches long and is too long to fit between the forward hold down bracket and the rear indentation in the trunk floor. Mine is a replacement that my brother installed in 1968 when the original was stolen. Mine works but it doesn't fit properly when mounted under the spare.. I could just cut mine to fit but I want to be sure before I do. Thanks.
