Default 72 Chevelle????

New to chevys ive been workin on an 85 Mustang but may be getting a 72 chevelle so I just have a few questions...

Will an 8.8 out of a 89 T-Bird coupe work on a 72 chevelle?

Will a 70 chevelle front and rear end bolt right on to a 72 Chevelle?

If the 8.8 wont work what car do i need to look for that has 5 lug disc brake setup that i can find in a junk yard?

8.8 out of a t-bird or mustang will fit with a few mods, and a conversion kit, front clip and rearend are identical in both years (suspension wise)
the 12 bolts in the rear of the chevelles are pretty strong though although hard to find
i have heard of people using exploders rears in g-bodies with a few mods

Ya i think that ill just spend the money and get the front and back disc brake conversion kit cuz id really like for everything on the car to be as unused and new as possible.

and to be more clear on the 70 front and back end I just want it to look like a 70 chevelle so does that require the WHOLE front and rear end or are they just bumpers??

for the front u need the front rad suport, the bumper the grill and the rest of the facia, the back u will need to cut the steel and get the bumper, tail lights and such
as for disks, yea good plan im doing this too, but for me it is the guts from a GTP trans am and the backing plates with new calipers and rotors, also when switching to disk rears you need to get a new master cyl and proportioning valve, i cant give u any details on it because i havent bought the parts yet, plus mine is going into an 81 malibu

ya i found a front end on a 4 door 70 chevelle and i was just gonna take the front bumper and etc. and for the reari figured id have to cut somethin.

and for the brakes i found a disc brake kit with 2inch drop w/ cylinder and proportioning valve for 550 or 575 i dont remember exactly but i know its pretty cheap compared to putting disc brakes on a foxbody mustang
