my son purchased 1969 chevelle ss with 396,the motor has rod knocking.My son and I pulled 396 out and installed 1970 454 engine in its place.All of the above he purshased online in ARMY just before he was shipped out to Afghanistan.His back home now.We have installed the 454,but none of the old brackets for alternantor and power steering dont fit properly and balancer on 454 sticks out further,none of the pulleys are lining up properly.Can someone suggest which model of brackets i need to purchase and where i can purchase.I have purchased i believe a long water pump.Thanks
