Default Does anyone run a 2 barrel with the divorced choke?

I don't know that the choke was ever set correctly. I went hard core on getting it right but I can't find any clear discussion with pictures of orientation for a 1974 2GV carb on a chevelle or el camino. If you know or have one to verify position of rod in cold spring, please share.

Thanks,

Ed

What is this supposed to look like when cold?

Hole to the back where the rod is. The spring when cold "pulls" down the rod, rod hooked to choke plate, choke plate full closed in cold condition. As the spring warms up, it will slowly expand pushing the choke rod up, and opening the choke plate.

You can look under choke section, it will show (old images i know) your choke, as well as other choke configurations.
