Hello, I am trying to locate the original engine out of my dad's 68 chevelle SS. Engine code should be 18b234733. I have read Baltimore sometimes stamped the second digit as b, in which case it would be 1bb234733. Engine was sold in the mid 80's in the Mercersburg, PA area. My dad tried to buy it back sometime around 1990, but it had changed hands again. If anyone has any information or suggestions of some other places to search, it would be much appreciated.
