LS 6 Chevelle 1971 Found!
Hallo America!
I think that we may have found a uniqe Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1971 here in Sweden!
It's a 454 with a 4 speed M22 gearbox from the beginning. Unfortuatly the original engine and gearbox is replaced . It was probably changed
in the end of the 1970īs. The car was imported from USA to Sweden in 1975 and as far we know, they competed in some dragracing events (stock).
The latest owner of the car bought it in the mid -90īs and have not used it much since.
He died a few monthīs ago and now itīs in our possession.
He always said that this car was something special, and now we think we know what he ment.
After some digging we found the buildsheet...
This car is from the beginning, according to the buildsheet, equippet whith the LS6 engine! , and 4-speed manual transmission!
As far as we can see, it was only a few Chevelles 1971 delivered whith the LS 6 engine... So we think it can be very rare...
The vin nr 136371B195875
Today the car is fully driveable, and the engine is a aftermarket 502 cu.inch engine whith aluminium heads. Transmission is a 700 automatic.(heavy duty built)
The condition of the car is not on top level, but normal wear i would say... No rust as far as we can see. (always stored in garage)
We would like to get some help to understand how uniqe this car really is , and if someone can give us a hint of the value of this car.
Please share this info to all you think may be interested of this car and can share some info for us.
// Kind Regards Runo Nielsen

Keep searching the internet,many auto specific sites out there,they are a sweet car, good looking,but it's not original,so the story behind it,makes it unique,the original motor,trans combo would make it rare,still a great find,take care of it,please
