I know swapping from a manual to an auto may seem like a cardinal sin to some of you, especially since its such a valuable car, but I was wondering if it could even be done on an LS6? My first thought is that it can, simply because the LS6 did have a TH400 option, so I guess what I'm saying is, would it be a simple job?
1. How much would this cost me for the transmission and labor?
2. If I sold the 4spd that was removed from the car, how much of the bill would that compensate for? The vehicle is very low mileage, so the 4spd is in good condition.
3. I don't foresee there being any reliability issues, but can any of you experts?
