What does an El Camino feel like?
I'm looking at getting an early to mid 70's El Camino with a BBC in it.
I'm wondering how these drive as I have never driven one. Wondering if its going to be like driving a G-body cutlass, like my '87 cutlass, or if its going to be more like driving an S10 with a BBC hiding under the hood.

Feels great
I have two, 81 with sb400 350trans, its fast, its loud, and it burns the hell out of tires (light in the back end) but its fun. The 79 is stock v6 factor 3 speed on the floor. Both drive great more like a car not a truck. It is a little light in the rear so take bumps a little rough at time but other then that drive just like a fine car.
