I have a 1958 Apache, wanted to put a new automatic V6 in there, thinking the 3.6L GM motor. Has anyone ever done this, is there a thread I can look at? Suggestions on other motors? Thanks all!
Mine had the I6 and I swapped in a 6.0L / 4L80e tranny. It’s a work in progress. Painted interior, with one piece windows, and new column and steering wheel. 20 inch US Mag wheels, M2 front end with front disc, coil overs, and rack & pinion. Work in progress. Keeping the patina on the outside. Junkyard 6.0L Vortec and 4L80e tranny swapped into it.
