Default 1986 Silverado pickup Transmission

Hello everyone I have a 1986 Chevy silverado with the 6.2L diesel engine. and pulled up to a stop sign and when it was my turn to go i gave it fuel and speed away and then I noticed the more i gave it fuel that it was not going anywhere. When i finally came to a stop i gave it fuel and it just barely creeped along, I tried in all gears and reverse too and it barely moves.

Any ideas what to look for? I have no idea where to start.

Thanks in advance

Default No go

How many miles?
If the fluid is ok?
The front pump is probably bad.
Sent you a PM.

Agree with jerry, front pump or converter blown. Do you hear any noises coming from the trans. Gary

second on the fluid level. If its a th400 they are super picky about running low.
