Hey group, I inherited my grandfathers truck.. it’s an original 1957 Chevy 3100 short bed step side 4x4. it has the original straight 6 motor. It has 88k original miles, zero body damage very minimal rust.
Nice truck, I understand these things are valuable. I am a single mother and took on a project bigger than I can assume. The body shop is breathing down my neck for a payment I don’t have. Like, pay child care or pay for a truck I don’t have a shop to park it in. My thought was to fix it, sell it, and use the money for a down payment on a house. I need help. 1950's 4x4 Pickups were rare. I'd expect to get a good price on such a rare Chevy pickup.
