Default 82 C10 not firing---please help!

First and foremost, I am not a mechanic, but I do like to tinker. This is my first ever post. A friend from church recommended I find a durum to help me with my problem. I have a 1982 Scottsdale C10 pickup with a 305. This truck has ESC (Electronic Spark Contro). I don't know if this plays in to my problem or not. Additionally, the distributor is from an 84 model. I'm not confidant that the motor is original either, but here is my issue. The truck lost power while driving and I cannot get it to start back. I know it's not a fuel issue. There is a new carb, fuel pump and filter and there is fuel getting to the carb. I have replaced the capacitor and terminal block, ignition control module, rotor button, distributor cap, coil, plugs and wires and it is still not firing. The best I can tell, all fuses under dash are good and connected tightly. I cannot find any in-line fuses and all signs indicate there is power going to the coil, it is just not firing and I don't know what to check next! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
