ok, Hello to all. I am building an 85 squarebody truck but the frame i have is a 77. My question is which body mounts do I need? I have heard they are frame specific not body specific, but the height differences are quite a bit. is the difference in the location of the body mount brackets on the frame? The 73-80 ones are much taller than the newer ones in the back for sure. The one place I was reading said you can use either one as long as you change all of them and the hardware, the only problem I see with this is the holes in the older frame are too small for the newer body mounts to fit in. I can drill bigger holes in them if they will work. Any help is appreciated.
