I have a 1986 chevy silverado c10 4.3 liter (262) automatic transmission. No tilt on the column. No intermittent ws washers. no cruise. Its just the standard column. Shifter is on the column. My dimmer switch quit working. The lights are hung on high beam. There is no click when i pull the toggle toward me to dim the lights. I found this small spring like structure on the floorboard directly beneath the column. What the hell? anybody know what this is? Part of dimmer switch mechanism? Come off something else? Will supply picts.
