I cut the mufflers off my 81 c10 today and it sounded pretty good. I was looking around the exhaust and one of my cat converters just popped off and now the exhuast is cut off directly halfway under the cab. I plan on getting glasspacks soon but my questions are 1. Is it bad to only have one cat converter on true duals? 2. Is it bad that the exhaust is cut off so far under the cab?

 

It will throw your emissions off for sure but short term no not bad. Long term bad back pressure will be different on the engine on one side if there isn't a crossover pipe.
