1970 Chevy K10 5.7L
Why after getting my truck washed would it be running rough with high oil pressure
I drove it an hour b4 and no problems then after it got washed when runs rough in gear and loss of power
didn’t wash engine bay but did spray from grill. Any guidance would be appreciated!
it is a mechanical gauge

 

did you spray water into the intake?
Does the engine smooth out after a while?

 

yah it did smooth out after a while but now I just have high oiler pressure at least on my mechanical gauge but besides that it runs just fine at idol I am afraid to get it moving atm don’t want any more issues. Also the electric fan hasn’t turned on but the thermostat is getting hot an opening my front fin on the carb. And from what I saw the hood was closed and they just sprayed the grill
