I had a 4x4 gmc jimmy and I reported it stolen in 2015. Now I was riding down the street yesterday and I saw my truck.. Immediately I called the police I said I have found my stole truck. I give them my name and all my info and they have no records stating that I reported it stolen. So I said how could this be, so they told me to call the city police and they might have a record.. Besides that I couldn't remember was it a jimmy or a bronco or what it even was.. So to make a long story short, I headed to the nearest DMV and gave them my id and got another copy of my lost title. So I go back out to the truck and I noticed it has chevy sign on the front grill.. I assure u the truck looks exactly how it looked the day it was stolen. They changed the hood the front grill and the back door it still has the customer made camper that I bought for it. Oh and they changed the vin number in the dash but now it's all rusty and stuff and it was never like that.. I need to know either where else the original vin number might be. (everywhere available) or I need to find out some kind of cosmetic difference between an 85 gmc 4x4 and a 85 K-5 Blazer.. please the help will be greatly appreciated if I can give me some pointers
