Okay so I acquired a 2009 Cobalt for $1000 last year and like every $1000 car it needs some work. I've got a P0420 code (catalytic converter obviously). It's the 2.2 engine and it's manual. I've tried searching online for a new catalytic converter for this thing but can only seem to find ones listed for the automatic car. Has anyone else had this issue?

 

I would check the O2 sensor before replacing the converter.
