2006 Chevy Cobalt SS illegal?
Whats up guys... so I just got a pre owned 2006 cobalt ss from new york and brought it back to ct. Just the other day I get a 225 dollar ticket at 10:30 pm stating that i was making excessive noise and the exhaust is illegal... wtf! Is the borla exhaust not stock? and if it is then why would i be getting a ticket for a stock part. not to mention the only "excessive noise" was caused by driving normally and not even reving my engine or anything.

I don't think the borla exhaust is stock tho. Take the ticket to court and try to prove that you got the car like that and that it wasn't something you added on. Also I'd look at getting a stock ss exhaust
