Check engine light and transition control light
Hello,
My Dad and Uncle bought me a Chevy Cobalt LT 2010 in March, after getting the car register at the DMV, I notice that my check engine light was on. My dad hooked up out code reader to the car and got back that it was a misfire in cylinder one. He ordered new spark plugs and installed them, but the light didn't go off. Next, he ordered new coils for the car, thinking that was the problem. The light turned off, so my dad hooked the code reader to see if that fixed the problem, and it said a code was still there, but it was not turning the light on in the car. I drove it to get groceries, and the light turned back on. During this, I noticed that my transaction control light was on and was saying service traction control, but not all the time. My dad put cleaner in the gas tank to see if that would help, but it didn't, and my traction light control started to be on all the time when I was driving.
Last week my dad changed my fuel injectors in the car; both lights turn off. I drove it to a few places, and on my way back home, I notice that both lights came one again; this is less than 24 hrs after he made the change. My dad changes my oil and my oil filter on Friday. I notice the lights were off, and I thought ya! But instead, the check engine light comes on and is blinking, but I notice the three times I saw the engine light blink I was idling the car, twice in reverse and once in the drive. My dad read a few articles that the check engine and the traction light on it can be a lousy wheelbarrowing or head gasket. Has anyone had this problem and find that one or the other was the problem.

Hello everyone,
We have figure out why the check engine light is on, my dad check to see if the cylinder was getting any voltage and its not causing the misfire. We have not found out why the traction control light turns on and off, but least we know that a separate problem now. Cause we recently got the light to go off for the engine and traction light would still come on. Of course as i was going to get the car inspected was when the light turned back on. Anybody have an idea to get this problem fix quickly or anything, we need to get the car inspected and can't with the check engine light on. Though I heard you can get the car inspected and have a paper saying fixing the car or getting fix and then get it inspected is something people do. Anybody done that or heard of someone doing that.
