Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Fuel leak by the driver side back wheel.

My 2010 Cobalt was having a fuel smell this summer on the driver's side. We noticed it but didn't think much of it. Two weeks ago, it had gotten stronger, so my wife took our other car to work. I went in town with it and when I parked in a parking lot, i looked underneath and it was actually leaking fuel. It's been parked since that night, and only seems to leak when it's running or recently running. I've been doing some research online and have seen this is a pretty common problem, but mine is not covered under the recall or special bulletin. Any notice or advice on what the fix would be? I appreciate any help.

Probably a bad fuel pump/sender gas tank O-ring. Or could be something rusted if you live where they still use salt in winter. It corrodes like crazy. The Cobalt was an inferior car compared to the Cavalier, which Chevy produced for 23 years and 4 years for the Cobalt. ...
