Default KEYLESS ENTRY AND OWNERS MANUEL

I have a 2006 ss and i need to get an owners manuel. I went to the site that chevy redirects you to-but i dont see one specific to the ss-is there one specially for the ss? Also-how do you change the battery in the keyless entry?

SS won't have a different manual. If they sent you to helminc.com, be prepared to pay about $8.00 shipping on top off the price for the manual.

Transmitter should have a little "coin" groove in it to pry it apart. If not, a small pocket screwdriver should do the trick.

Phazer is correct, The SS owners manual is the same as all others.

Here's the instructions for replacing the battery in your key fob



[/align]Notice:When replacing the battery, do not touch any of the circuitry on the transmitter. Static from your body could damage the transmitter.
[ol]Insert a flat object, with a thin edge, into the notch located below the remote alarm button and separate the bottom half from the top half of the transmitter.
Remove the battery from the transmitter.
Install the battery into the transmitter with the positive side of the battery facing up.
Snap the front and back half of the transmitter together.
Ensure the transmitter halves are tight to prevent moisture from intruding into the transmitter. [/ol]
