The car was fine until I hit the gas after stopping at a stop sign. There was nothing. No power,no engine rev, the car was still running. It seemed like everything having to do with giving it gas was dead. The gas pedal also felt odd...kinda soft. The garage now says it “may” be a solenoid. They’ve ordered the part but tell me it may not solve the problem. Everything I’ve read on-line talks about accelerator pedal sensors. So, which is it? Or neither?
