Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default RE: Performance Upgrades

Websites: cobaltss.net; cobaltss.com

Basic performance mods and the order to accomplish them are:

1. GMPP cat-back Performance exhaust system (best but loudest) GMPP cat-back Touring exhaust system (next best)
2. GMPP extrude honed exhaust manifold (IF you do not have the SAI (AIR) system -- look for a second hose coming out of your air filter box)
3. GMPP Performance Air Intake
4. Crateenginedepot 2.4 intake manifold to 2.2 kit

All of these mods free-up horsepower and will make your 2.2a blast to drive.

One of the best websites to find accessories for your car is crateenginedepot.com
