Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Pop or snap sound

My second issue: if I accelerate too fast (which I rarely do, especially now) I hear and feel a snap or pop sound from the passenger side. This also happens in reverse if the wheel turns - then it happens again when I put it in drive and turn the wheel again. This noise does not happen multiple times, meaning it does not pop or snap several times - it is only once. But it is consistent. Any advice/help is appreciated.
Thanks

I had it checked out today. It is a crossbar that is an engine support. The bolt is frozen in the bushing. The guy at the tire shop wasn't even sure how they could repair it, though he said it isn't broken, just loose. So for now, with 166k on the car, I'm leaving it alone.
