When i hit the unlock button, only the passenger side headlight comes on, but when i get in and start the vehicle, it swaps to only the driver side headlight working. Any clue what might cause this? Also, both the yellow blinker lights work properly, its only the headlights bulbs that have the problem.

 

Welcome to the forum. There're four separate fuses, each for left low beam, left high beam, right low beam, right high beam. Check them all. If they check out, try swapping the left headlamp bulb with the right. Both headlamp bulbs may have one bad filament each.
