Personally I would suggest having this work done at a dealership. You have the 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. You should be covered for a fix of this type under normal circumstances. I hope this information helps you.

unplug the r/f headlamp connector at the bulb
turn on the headlamp switch
with lowbeams on; do you have 12volts at the orange wire?

if yes plug the connector back in
provided an alternate ground for the light from the black wire.

If the light goes bright you have a resistance issue.

check the r/f marker bulb as its wired in series with the r/f headlamp...resistance there will drop voltage through the headlamp

Has this issue been resolved? Have you had the vehicle inspected for this issue?

Please feel free to contact me privately with any questions or concerns.

I look forward to your reply.

You could have a bad ground somewhere on your headlights.
