Has anyone worked on communication issues within the GM L5P Duramax and can share insight on diagnosing network faults? I'm trying to understand how the modules interact over the CAN system and tools are best for testing continuity and signal quality.
When inspecting the L5P CAN bus plugs, I noticed some variation in pin condition and I'm unsure what acceptable wear looks like versus a failing connection. In particular, the L5P CAN bus plugs seem critical for stable module communication, especially under load or tuning conditions.
