I have a 06 cobalt that I bought about 4-5 months ago. Was driving it a couple weeks ago when the security light comes on and I get power steering message but power steering still worked. The speedometer and tach needles waivered back and forth. And the transmission started acting up. I drove home and in the safety of my garage I shut it off. When I restarted it the security light was off and things seemed back to normal. Other messages were posted about some time ago. Did they ever resolve this problem?
