Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Struts & Rotors REPLACEMENTS

I'm shopping to replace just the front struts and rotors with brakes if I can find good deal on Ebay, if not then just the rotors. I'm not sure what brand of struts I should get but know of Monroe and KYb brands.
I mostly do highway driving and want a smooth ride. I just recently bought new set of wheels and tires size 17. The max I'll spend on struts is around $180 just for the front.

Any suggestions on what to buy would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

Can't go wrong with KYB, some auto parts stores now carry struts with springs already installed so no spring compressor is needed
What year is your Cobalt? post a few pictures of your project if you can

I may just order some on Ebay and have them installed where I use to work for cheap.
