I am thinking about buying used 2008 Chevy Cobalt LT. They seem good priced but wonder what some current owners like/dislike about them. Please let me know what your thoughts are about the Cobalt!! Thanks!

 

I have an '06 LS since it was new, its a decent car but I wouldn't recommend it someone.

Pros:
fuel economy
peppy - nice acceleration, can quickly pass cars if something is misjudged
decent sound system
back seat is comfortable for 2 adults
good handling
auto lights
trip computer

Cons:
very unconformable on long trips

material of seats is very cheap - stains do not come out
trunk opening is small

2 yrs. old:
door handles stick
drivers door handle breaks off
key no longer opens trunk

3 yrs old:
door handles stick so bad door has to be opened from inside sometimes
all door latches have rusted
paint is chipping off the bottom inside of doors

 

i personally have a summit white cobalt lt . they are an awesome car i personally think they save me so much money at the pumo this year that im about to buy new wheels for the thing. overall the car is awsome because it has everything any1 could want except a v6 lol.
