Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default XM wiring harness question/issue

I have a Cobalt SS that did NOT come with XM/OnStar, I went to a junk yard the other and bought a XM box from a Cobalt and was hoping to order the cable that goes from the deck to the XM box in the trunk.

GM told me that the cable is built in the Body harness and it was 600.00 to 1400.00 to order

This is what I have been pondering and need help on the back of the desk has male pins and same with the XM box, so I need a cable with female ends on both side to connect

I have not had a GM2harness other then pictures but looks like it has one connection to back of deck then you plug in your factory harass to it(witch I don’t have)

Does anyone have any idea on what I can do to connect my Factory 2006 Deck to a factory XM box without paying 600.00 for a factory GM body harness?
