I have been truck shopping and had decided on the colorado with package two and technology package.
I went to the dealer to test drive. During the test drive the check engine light came on and went into limp mode. We made it to the gas station and it was leaking antifreeze and over heating. We had to be picked up by the sales manager.
Just a horrible experience
I'm definitely concerned about buying one. Is there anyone else has heard or seen this happening?
I can’t speak about a ‘26 but I recently bought a used ‘21 and I was concerned that it never reached the typical (or so I thought) temp of 210’. Granted I live in NH but still my Silverado would always run at 210 but after watching a video of someone test driving their truck after some upgrades and watching his temp I came to the conclusion that that is how they run. I would assume the truck you drove just had some stupid thing fail due to human error at the factory and you were the unfortunate one to have it fail on you. I was on the fence about the Colorado after owning a full size pickup for the last 40 years but I’ve really come to like the Colorado. Try another one you’ll see. Good luck with what ever you buy.
