I tried in vain during 2016 to order a Colorado Ext Cab w/ the diesel engine. Only to be told the diesel was only available with the crew cab. But today I see one for sale on eBay ( item 142233486078 ). I thought perhaps the posting was wrong, but I verified the config with a VIN # lookup.

Was this a special order item? Or is this one of the rarest Colorado's you can buy? Can a 2017 be ordered this way?

 

MAY be an error(?) the diesels are only with 4dr(?), as far as i know
