Default Connecting ipod to radio

My radio on my 2009 Colorado does not have a jack for my Ipod. Bought one of those gizmoes that you plug into your lighter and tune your radio to a certain channel which sounds like crap. Is there an after market thing that can be installed that has a jack which would allow you to plug your Ipod into.

I dont know...but there is a device that you can get that plugs INLINE to your antennae to isolate the signal from your lighter device. You need an FM signal modulator.

Default 2008 colorado iPhone kit

I'm looking to install some kind of kit (custom or after market) that will allow me to set my iphone in a cradle of some sort to charge and play music through the stereo.

Has anyone else done this?

I'm hoping I don't end up replacing the factory stereo in order to do this but feel I may have no other choice.
