Hill+Traction=Lock?
What happened?
2022 Colorado WT 3.5L 6 cyl 2WD
I parked on a smallish hill 2 tires on pavement and 2 tires off the side of the road in a a considerable amount of leaves. (Not the best traction, but it wasn't too bad) The parking brake was not on. When I went to leave a couple hours later I decided a 3 point turn on the rural road would be the easiest exit. The Hill Assist feature engaged and when I turned left to leave the Traction Control kicked on. (Probably spun a tiny bit on some leaves.) I came off the small curb slowly and when I had all 4 wheels on the pavement the rear wheels felt like there was some resistance with some light grinding or skidding. It almost felt like the parking brake was engaged and causing the wheel to skid. I drove it slowly for a while. Stopped and parked, then turned the engine off for a bit then back on (maybe not necessary, but who knows?) then drove on. It ran fine after that. No dragging, no strange noises, no lights, totally normal.
Questions: What happened? I know it wasn't the best parking conditions, but it didn't seem that bad. I parked my manual transmission Mazda3 in the same spot a couple weeks earlier. Did I do something wrong? Is there something not working on the truck? Is this totally normal and I'm fussing over nothing?
