Default Installing 4l60e in 07 4x4

I m rebuilding my daughters 07 colorado 3.7 4x4 crew cab 4l60e. Ive pulled alot of trannys, but this was the worst. Doing it on my back in driveway. 1st thing as soon as i get out of ca, is a lift. Anyway every1 said u have 2 pull it out with transfer case. Which on most full size trucks is no prob.but they come straight down. Oh but not this 1. The converter bolts is another story. I have it up on blocks, im 6'5" so its high enoght i can sit with my head in the tunnel. I have fl jacks & bike lift. They weren't much good. Ended up using 6 tie downs because of the the frame being in the way. 2 make a long story even longer, is there a way 2 install the transfer case after. I no i couldn't get 2 all the bolts on adapter that bolts up 2 trans, but was thinking of leaving that on an unbolt it from transfer case end ?it looks like there might b more rm 2 get 2 bolts. But i dont want 2 put trans in if it won't work. Im hoping some1 has tried or done it. Even talked 2 a mechanic that works at chevy, he said they just pull them 2gether. Thanks
