Thinking of buying a 2010 colorado
I am looking to get out of my Piece of junk 2009 Jeep liberty that just keeps giving me problems.
I was looking at a 2010 Colorado 2LT with full size spare.
Cost before taxes/fees is 28,000. He said there is not much room for negotiation due to the small markup on these trucks... Is this true or a lie to get more money?
For starters is this a good price? I am going to go with the 2.9% 5 years if I make the purchase and he told me i would be paying roughly 420-430 a month. I currently pay 270 so its a big jump.
I also had a few questions regarding some things on the truck.
How is the fuel economy on average? I have read between 20-25. My jeep is getting 17 highway, if these numbers are true i figure im saving $20-$40 a month in gas alone. I drive 60 miles to work per day.
Are there any issues with these trucks? Are they pretty solidly built?
One thing that is a bit of a turn off is the rather cheap radio... my jeep came with a far superior radio but i suppose that is easily replaced for aftermarket.
Anyone have any general complaints/cons to the vehicle? what are the pros over other vehicles in its class?
Thanks!

I have had a 2005 colorado ext cab and just bought a 2010 crew cab colorado and love both. I traded in the 05 just for the extra room. That price sounds pretty fair and the small markup is very true. Gas is decent on these, i dont look down and need gas every min and i drive quite a bit. I never had a single prob with my truck.
I too am looking at buying an '07-'09 Colorado/Canyon. Only problem I have is for a couple thousand more I can get a WAY more powerful and optioned Silverado. And the gas mileage is only, what, 2-3 mpg better?
the new 2010 colorados come with 5.3 v8(same motor thats in the big trucks)
but it comes with 3.42 gears but still makes a WOPING 300hp wich is way more power than the little truck needs im thinking about buying on of these when i get more money
