you realize changing ride height of l/r spring will effect the rf spring and its ride height.

Perhaps shims between the box and frame? Would a body shop be a good place to have this issue resolved?

Default Mine too

My 2017 CCSB 4x4 colorado has that lean also.It is not in the box or bumper.the difference can be measured from leaf spring to frame on mine.
diff at wheel wells is betwwen 5/8 and 1 inch depending on how I pull into carport.
Diff from spring to frame is 3/8 to 7/16.
I have been trying to figure this out so that I will hit level on my overloads when I install them.

Default Everyone is forgetting fuel

The fuel tank is on the left side. 21 gallons will be about 150 lbs. If factory springs are the same both left and right, I would expect a slight difference.
Plus the transfer case is offset to the left as well.
If someone has access to portable scales, like the ones that DOT uses for roadside safety inspections, it would be interesting to see which side the two
heaviest wheels are on.

Have your dealer look at Service Bulletin #18-NA-108: Body Structure and/or Suspension Leans to the Left.
Didn't make mine 100%, but better.

I know this is an old post from 2022, but this service bulletin gives me ideas on how to correct this issue on my 2006 Silverado work truck. Between me sitting on the driver side, a 34 gallon gas tank, and the battery ALL on that side, the truck has about 2 inches of lean to the left. I'm going to replace the shocks as they are original and worn out, and if still leaning that bad, look into shimming between axle and leaf spring per the bulletin.

The infamous "Chevy Lean" does not appear to be a thing for my 1996 C1500 - but is sure obvious in my 2006 Silverado 1500.
