Well I had an illegal (you guessed it, no license) blow a stop sign on me last weekend. I guess she and her anchor-baby really had somewhere pressing to be...

It took the Orem Police Dept. 57 min. to get a cruiser to "cruise" over. And we were about 6 blocks from the police station... GRRR!

Anyway, this incident left me in need of a new bumper. I'm not really a huge fan of all the chrome that is on my Tahoe, so I got on Ebay and found a black front bumper to put on it. The rear bumper had some damage to it when I bought it, so I figured this would be the perfect oportunity to change them both out.

Finding a black FRONT bumper was no problem, but I've searched all over the net, and I can't seem to find a black rear bumper. Any ideas? I could always get a chrome bumper, and have it painted, but that seems like a waste...

 

I'm detecting some racial overtones here.

Move out of that dangerous place, it doesn't exactly sound like happy valley to me.

The chrome would need to be stripped to get paint to stick so avoid that if you can, have you called around to junk yards or even checked the price of a new bumper?

Yeah, it was an illegal alien. I don't think I said anything race related. Any race reference was imagined. The race is totally irrelevant. Had more to do with the fact that they were unlicensed and uninsured. I'm 99% sure you guessed the correct race, but that's something you did with your own brain. I guess you bought into a stereotype... Shame, Shame...

Anyway, anybody got any ideas on that rear bumper? I got the front on there, and it looks totally bad ***! I think I'm going to black out the Bowtie. But I still need a black bumper for the rear.
