I bought a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado in October of last year with a GM warranty certificate for one year at Autonation chevrolet Doral Miami
To make the story short.
The truck already went to the dealer 2 times in the same month of purchase and one of them due to transmission problems.
Currently he continues with transmission problems and I have spoken with the service manager since March and he does not have a looner to assist me.
As I did not solve it, I talked to the general manager and it did not solve it either.
I called GM and they told me that those issues are fixed with the Dealer.
Total I continue with the transmission failing and nobody can help me.

If you have a 2nd party warranty provider there could be problems, my neighbor has a ford that the transmission blew and at this time he is suing the warrantor for denying his claim telling him that it was a presxisting condition. They won't pay for his claim, which makes no sense at all. Don't matter WHAT the excuse condition was.....that's why he bought the warranty. Sounds like the warrantor is delaying the claim for whatever crooked reason.

 

I would not stop there. Call the corporate office and even write a bad review on Google and Facebook. I had a problem with a dealership here in Miami and I wrote a bad review on Google which got their attention quickly and a quick fix. Yours is a more serious problem then min was, but give it a try.

I would ad that if this warranty is honorable and trustworthy then why your dealer is treating you this way. Iam looking at extending my 2022 Colo with 350 miles. , Because of issues I'm having already, I'm going to make damn sure it's pure GM and not some jack leg 2nd dance party outfit that does not honor it's claims, for some lame reason, Whatever it is.
