I have a 1974 Vette
about 3 week ago the motor just stop.
I have change the Cap,Rotor,coil elect ignition
The motor started good ran good for 2 mi and stop.
then I change the fuel pump. and adjusted the carburetor float.
For the test drive this time. I ran the motor at 3000 rpm for 4 min and the motor just stop again. (the tac just went down with the motor) that told me that I still had ignition
Now the motor will start run then stop. But I must pump the gas to restart
The carbuertor is a 4160
the fuel lever is adjusted at the opening
The next thing change the Carburetor. I have a used one

Don't know what a 4160 carburetor is, but it acts like the float level is too low.
