Welcome to the forum.

You might post in out sister forum in the C3 section: http://www.corvetteforums.com/forum/index.php

Someone there should be able to answer your question. That's one thing that I haven't removed on mine. Is it possible that the rubber bushings are stuck to the frame?

The bushings are stuck to the frame. Spray with PB Blaster and use a larger pry bar. I do this close to the floor with a floor jack under the center section. Good luck
