2010 chevy cruze 2.0 problem with brake lights and more
Hi there! I have a problem with my chevrolet cruze I'm guessing that the bcm is broken the brake lights are constantly on and only go out when I apply the handbrake. It's hard to find a module with the same numbers, could I replace it with a module with different numbers? My module had a sticker with the number 13504449, and under the sticker, it had 13503861. Opcom detects the number that was on the sticker. I wanted to buy a module from an Opel insignia with the number 13504450 and copy eeprom from my module to second hand but I don't know if I will break something in the car. generally the interface detects a lot of faults, the car even started by itself a few times. I cleaned the plugs from the bcm, ecm and ebcm modules, replaced all the fuses, replaced the brake switch with new ones and checked the wiring harness from this switch to the bcm. what do you think, could it be bcm's fault? or should I look elsewhere?
