Lorraine,

I am in the process of setting up your case. I would just like to know what the best times to call your phone and your daughters’ phone are since you work at night.

Thank you

My daughter can be reached anytime during the day. It is easier to reach me after 6:30 in the evening . I would be available all day Monday , Monday evening and Tuesday until 4:00 PM. I am Central standard time

Problems continue to crop up in my car. I took it in for the second time on 5/23 and still do not have it back. Stabili trac components hard to come by in the States apparently. One arrived with broken pin connectors. I believe 3 sets of components put in , also ABS system not wroking properly. Now it is the YAW control. So the feature that is supposed to make a Cruze outstanding as far as safety goes, are not working in my Cruze. The stabili trac, ABS and yaw control are designed to work together" to make the biggest leap forward in passenger safety since the first 3 point seat belt in 1959" Well, they are not working at all in my car.

Lorraine....in the future NEVER post things like phone number, address, VIN, etc in an open forum like this. Directly contact the person via email or the forums messaging facility. I would suggest getting that post deleted. Your info is now out there for anyone to use.

Several problems with a specific model for the Cruze in 2011, and issued a recall. It was in the shop for a week and I have a loan of, but tired of paying for the car that I bought, and not have it.

What type of issues is your car having? Only a week? Mine was in once for a month, then died on the highway at 60 mph just 12 hours later. Back in for 4 days and no problem since. I do understand your aggravation entirely.

Let's get some balanced discussion on this forum. Does anyone drive a Cruze who is completely satisfied with the vehicle? While this wont make Lorraine feel any better, the truth of the matter is, for all manufactured goods, of any sort, some will be duds. It seems to be an unwritten rule. The best knowledge for the general car buying public (which is the point of this forum) is the average driver's experience. Anyone have a good experience to share?

Well it sounds like there is a definite problem with the Cruze. I am sitting here considering buying one. But I don't want to buy a car that I can't drive. I am reading several of the posts and think I will wait awhile before buying. I drove an entry level Cruze this week and was impressed. But I'd be more impressed if I felt the car was dependable also.

this is unfortunate but will get resolved. It occurs to EVERY car maker; just ask any toyota car owner. 2 or 3 years ago chrysler dealers couldn't get parts to do any warranty work.
