2012 chevy cruze ac problem
I have 2012 chevy cruze 1.4l turbo. All the recalls have been fixed and I now have a new problem. The minute I turn the ac on the engine fan runs on high and the ac wont work. Sometimes on cooler mornings the fan wont kick on and the ac works fine, but as the afternoon temp gets high it starts acting up. Its not low on antifreeze and has no leaks. Its also not throwing any codes. I'm pretty good at diagnosing most issues but this one has me stumped. This car has been nothing but a headache any help would be appreciated, Also, the mileage is 86000. Thanks!
Did you check for DTC's in all modules including the HVAC and IPC? IF their is a ambient temperature sensor problem it can disable the AC. Is the ambient temp displayed on you radio display?
